As a credit union that can now serve anyone in Ontario - and with other credit unions joining us – it was time to give a new identity to Starnews. Successfully approved by our members at the March 24 AGM, our new name – Luminus Financial – refers to being “illuminated”: we want our existing and potential members to see our financial institution in a new light. A luminary is a wise or inspiring person who provides good advice. The “us” in the name refers to all of us, and our commitment to always put people first.

Our new identity is now official and includes a new website, branch signage and much more. But a name is more than just a word. It is a reputation. Our promise to you, our members, is Clearly better banking. Your board, management and employees at Luminus Financial are dedicated to making us the obvious choice for your full range of banking services, financial products and truly valuable advice.
