New Financial Hub Opens on the Waterfront
Credit Union Spearheads Launch of New Financial Hub With Welcoming Design and Atmosphere
TORONTO, ON--(Marketwired - August 19, 2015) - The positive reaction to the new Financial Hub on the waterfront was a surprise to some, but not to George De La Rosa.
The 40 year old CEO of Luminus Financial knew exactly what he wanted when he partnered with Interchange Currency Exchange and CWP Financial Services Inc., a Sun Life Financial Advisor: a full-service banking experience with an open design and welcoming atmosphere. That is exactly what he got.
"We are so pleased with the positive reaction the new Financial Hub has received," said George De La Rosa, CEO Luminus Financial. "Our goal was to match the design quality of the hub with the quality of services we provide within it. The Financial Hub is not just a credit union branch -- it's a community experience."
The new Financial Hub on the waterfront opened its doors to the public last month. Since then, it has received praise for its unique design and use of space. Transparency is one of the key features that sets Luminus apart from other financial institutions. The use of glass and an open floor plan echoes the warm and collaborative service the hub provides. The combination of comfortable seating areas and community spaces creates a sense of comfort for clients.
"The financial game is changing here in Toronto," said De La Rosa. "At the hub, we really wanted to move away from the traditional separation of teller and client. That's why we created a physical area that encourages collaboration and conversation."
Laura Albanese MPP (York South-Weston), Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Finance, was the guest speaker at the official opening on July 22.
An evening seminar will be offered each week throughout the month of August. Seminars will focus on stress-free living, covering topics such as getting the most out of small living spaces, urban homesteading, privacy and asset protection and smart travel.
