Terri Boidman

2020 Board Nomination Bio



Terri Boidman holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Queen's University at Kingston, a Masters of Science in Management from Boston University and a Post-MBA Certificate from McGill University.

For the past 10 years, Terri has worked as Director of Marketing and Communications at Jewish Federations of Canada, an international charitable organization that is dedicated to strengthening the Jewish community in Canada, Israel and overseas. As the central office for the federated Jewish community, JFC-UIA works in partnership with 10 Jewish Federations and dozens of regional communities across Canada to strengthen Jewish life and raise funds for community programs and initiatives in Canada, Israel and overseas.

She is responsible for the planning, creation and publication of all internal and external marketing and communication material. As a member of the senior leadership team, she supports and collaborates with the CEO and colleagues in strategic planning and decision making to ensure the continuous advancement of the organization.

As past-President and past-Secretary of the Board of Directors of 2603 Bathurst Co-Ownership Inc., she knows firsthand the trials, tribulations and satisfactions of serving on a Board of Directors. While it was time and labour intensive, she took great pride in the work that they did in the best interest of the co-ownership.

Terri is interested in joining the board at Luminus because, as a mortgagor and member of Luminus Financial, she has a vested interest in its continued success. She believes that the strength of any community is measured by the health and vitality of its members. She feels it would be a privilege to contribute to the future success of Luminus Financial as a Board Member.
